Duet Recruiting started out as Management Recruiters of Appleton (MR Appleton), an early franchise of the Management Recruiters International (MRI) Network. Russ Hanson (now retired) opened MR Appleton in 1973.
In 2006 Elizabeth Tischer assumed the role of Manager—General Manufacturing Search which led to the role of Vice President and General Manager under Russ's leadership.
Elizabeth purchased the franchise from Russ in 2009 after he'd invested 36 successful years, setting a new operational strategy for the business while upholding the integrity that has always been a part of Management Recruiters of Appleton.
